OUR GUARANTEE
Rembrandt Floral unconditionally guarantees that our fresh flower arrangements are made with the finest quality and freshest materials available. If you are unhappy with the quality of the live plants, flowers or other items in the arrangement simply return the entire arrangement within 24 hours to our shop for replacement or refund. Rembrandt Floral management will determine whether a replacement or refund will be given.

Why do we ask for the return of the product?
Our flower preparation is done in the cleanest conditions possible. Our botanical products are kept fresh in sterilized containers using only purified water. Our storage cooler is cleaned and sterilized weekly. Our staff understands that superior quality control takes extra diligence and hard work.

When flowers fail prematurely we need to discover the cause to insure that our system of botanical product care hasn't broken down. Having the entire arrangement to inspect allows us to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause.

If you are requesting a refund/replacement for a reason other than quality, returning the item allows us to inspect for many things such as are you returning the same item that was delivered by Rembrandt Floral? Many times, such as deliveries to funeral homes, items become mixed up, miss tagged and sometimes even lost. Returning the item allows to check the item against our records to see if they match, who took and prepared your order, who delivered and who accepted and was there any underlying circumstances revolving around the delivery of the item.

Reasonable Life Expectancy of Fresh Cut Flowers
Unfortunately, there is nothing carved in stone that tells us how long cut flowers will last and look nice. Many things affect the life of the floral product: temperature, sunlight and amount of water are only a few.

The following chart shows what our experience demonstrates as how long you can reasonably expect your cut floral arrangements to last.

How to prolong the life of your arrangement
There are several things you can do to prolong the life of your floral arrangement.

Fresh cut flowers do not need sunlight. To maximize the life of your fresh floral arrangements, do not display in sunny locations.

Fresh cut flowers like cool but not cold temperatures. Do not display your arrangements in warm locations. For example, on top of a TV or entertainment center where the heat from the electrical components will warm the flowers causing them to wilt prematurely... Do not expose your arrangements to freezing temperatures either as this will kill the flower quickly. Do not place your arrangement under or near an air conditioner vent or heater vent as this too will cause premature wilting.

Fresh cut flowers need a steady supply of fresh water and a floral preservative if available. Replenish the water in the vase daily. Do not allow the water in the vase to become old. Every two to three days, drain all the water out and replace with fresh water... This is also a good time to re-cut the end of the stems to open them up so they can draw up an adequate supply of water and nutrients to nourish the bloom. Cutting the stems allows the flower to “drink”.

Caring for Roses
Fresh roses arranged in a vase - Check the water level in the vase and add enough to bring the level almost to the top of the vase. Mix the flower food/preservative with clean, warm water and add enough water daily to keep the water level in the vase almost to the top.

Fresh cut roses in box or wrapped in tissue - As soon as possible fill a clean vase with tap water and mix in the packet of flower food/preservative. Arrange the ferns, baby's breath or other decorative filler in the vase first. Remove all leaves and other foliage from any part of the rose stem that will be covered with water. Cut each rose stem at an angle back about 1 inch and immediately place in water. Check the water lever every day and keep the water level in the vase almost to the top.

Caring for live house plants
Most plants sold as houseplants are tropical or sub-tropical in origins. Each has specific needs. The majority of house plants don't die of neglect - they die because of too much attention - too much fertilizer, too much water, etc. Be sure to read and follow the plant care instructions included with the plants you receive.
